Like birds soaring through the sky My family flew high Wishing they'd stayed I knew I would see them again one day Behind every person a story lies May they fly high in summer skies Why did you have to leave Now all that's left of you is an old sad leaf
Bombs are coming Everybody is screaming and running I don't want to die What if I can't fly Boom, crash! planes fell to the floor Please don't let there be any more
At last peace Family and friends may now sleep Second of September 1945 The day it stopped and only few survived
